Promotional Video for the European Commission
In 2010 we completed one of our most challenging and rewarding projects to date. We were required to produce a video that would not only capture the imagination of the Tanzanian people but that it would also manage to put in layman's terms the complicated structure of the European Union, the European Commission, the European Development Fund system as well as investigate the impact on the Tanzanian Society of the EU's direct budget support to the Tanzanian government.
Weeks of research and scriptwriting led to one of our most time consuming shooting schedules, including trips to various parts of the country as well as interviews with members of the Government, the Ambassador of the European Union and the East African Union, farmers, traders and many others.
To achieve our goal we had to go through and select archive footage from the AudioVisual services of the EU in Brussels, including footage from the 2nd World War, the African Carribean and Pacific Group of States' meetings' of the 70s and the 80s, as well as (next)
